Students in grades 3rd through 5th can participate in classroom spelling bees where winners will move on to the school-wide spelling bee. Families can go online to www.spellingbee.com for additional background information and sample words. The Sunnyside Spelling Bee competition this year was on Friday, February 10th. The winner was fifth grader Miggy Matanguihan. He will represent Sunnyside in the Regional Spelling Bee in Lewiston, Idaho on Saturday, March 17th.
