Please join us at Jefferson Elementary for another exciting year of Chess Club!
Students of all ages can benefit from Chess. Think of it as exercise for the mind. Chess can foster thinking skills, social fun, and help your child gain a love of the game. It is a FUN way to practice concentration, patience, logic, and mental calculations. JES students at all skill levels are welcome. Don't know how to play Chess? Come to the club and learn the game! We meet once a month on Fridays from 3-4 pm in the JES multi-purpose room.
Chess Club dates for the 2013-2014 school year will be announced the end of September.
