Math Olympiad Team (4^th-5^th) 

Mrs. Sewell, who is a veteran at instructing the Math Olympiads, will be organizing this international problem solving competition. There are five competitions, once a month from November to March. At each competition, Math Team members are given five very challenging problems to solve. These multi-step problems utilize advanced math concepts. Our Math Olympiad Team meets once a month at 7:45 a.m. in order to compete. Students are also able to work at home on Math Olympiad materials at their own pace. This team is designed to provide challenges for high achieving mathematicians who enjoy competing. Students are encouraged to speak with Mrs. Sewell to see if they are eligible to join.
