NCAA Information
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is the associaion through which high school athletes should register if they are going to want to play college sports.
For NCAA Initial Eligibility:
*In your PHS Course Description book, page 10 has all of the information and steps necessary to be eligible.
*If you do not have your course description book, either stop by the Career Center to get one, or go to www.ncaaclearinghouse.net and you can do everything necessary from that site.
Most students register to be eligible between their Junior and Senior years. This is not the only time you can register, however.
REMEMBER: You will need an official high school transcript to complete your NCAA eligibility form. There are two ways to request a transcript: The first way is to get the request form off of the NCAA website-- www.ncaaclearinghouse.net -- and then give it to Mrs. Davis in the Career Center, and the second way is to
request a transcript in the Career Center at PHS.
