Cultural/International Programs
Youth For Understanding Exchange Program Are you interested in studying abroad or going abroad for a summer opportunity? This is for you! Youth For Understanding is an organization that makes these opportunities possible. YFU offers these opportunities to study in more than 35 countries and focuses on greater cultural understanding. Asse International Student Exchange Program that is offering several study abroad locations. A study abroad program can be done during the summer or during the academic year and scholarships are available for students demonstrating academic excellence and financial need. The annual deadline for applying is in December. For more information, visit www.asse.com or come to the Career Center.
Aspect Foundation
Offers semester and yearlong study abroad opportunities in 20 countries. Students between the ages of 13-19 can participate. Aspect Foundation is designated as an official exchange visitor program by the US Department of State, and meets all the guidelines set forth by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel. AFS- USA Intercultural Programs
This program sends more than 1500 students to more than 40 countries each year; awards more than 1.5 million in financial aid and scholarships annually, welcomes more than 2800 international high school students to the US and places these students in schools and families; and is supported by more than 6000 AFS Volunteers in teh US and 30,000 volunteers worldwide.
