Apprenticeship Program
What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a means of learning a trade while earning a wage in that trade. These types of programs typically combine classroom training with actual on-the-job experience. Apprentices begin work at a lesser wage than skilled (journeyman) workers. The rate of pay increases as the apprentice's skills increase.
Inland Northwest AGC Open Shop Apprenticeship Program--This program offers apprenticeships for students interested in being a Carpenter or Construction Equipment Operator. You must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent to qualify. These are three and four year programs. For more information visit www.northwestagc.net (click on "Labor Relations" then click on "AGC Open Shop App. Program") or contact the Apprenticeship Office at 2110 N Fancher Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99216 or call (509) 999-9898 or (509) 533-2563.
