Beginning in 2008, she has also served the Pullman School District as a part-time Professional Development Facilitator and Instructional Coach. Her area of expertise is Math Education; she has been involved with Mathematics assessment at the state level since 2000. She was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching in 2004 (in K-8 Mathematics). Mrs. Cartwright also was recognized as the 2009 Pullman School District Dedicated Teacher of the Year. She enjoys her work supporting the education of both 4th graders and teachers in the district. I was born and raised in Colfax, WA and after graduating from Whitworth University I am glad to be back in the Palouse. I graduated from Whitworth with a BA in Elementary Education with a Reading Minor and a Math concentration area. I am very excited to be a part of this supportive community. |
